Kiko’s Clicks & Tunes Photo Challenge

Introduction

Join us on an exciting year-long adventure at Casa Kiko, our beautiful villa in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. This exclusive photo hunt competition is an invitation to our guests to explore their creative talents in photography and music, capturing the essence of their stay at Casa Kiko and the natural and cultural beauty of Lanzarote.

Eligibility

This competition is exclusively open to guests of Casa Kiko.

Participants must be 18 or older or have legal guardian consent to enter.

Competition Duration

The competition runs over the course of a year, with a continually updated provisional leaderboard on www.casakikolanzarote.com.

Detailed submission deadlines and dates will be provided on our website.

Submission Guidelines

Photos: Up to 5 submissions per participant, including intimate Casa Kiko moments (selfies, portraits, daily life) and other photo challenges.

Music: Each photo should be paired with a suggested music track that enhances the photo’s story.

Upload: Entries must be submitted via the form on www.casakikolanzarote.com.

Social Media: Participants are encouraged to share their photos on social media using #CasaKikoLanzarote for bonus points.

Conduct and Content Guidelines

Submissions must not contain content that is offensive, promotes violence, or discriminates against any individual or group.

We encourage respect for the environment, local culture, and inclusivity in all submissions.

Photo Challenges

Casa Kiko Moments: Selfies, portraits, or snapshots capturing the unique ambiance of Casa Kiko.

Lanzarote Landscapes: The island’s stunning landscapes.

Cultural Insights: Photos that reflect Lanzarote’s rich cultural heritage.

Wildlife and Nature: Capturing the island’s diverse flora and fauna.

Sunrise and Sunset: The beauty of Lanzarote’s sunrises and sunsets.

 Bonus Points Categories

Creative Selfie: +10 points for original and creative selfies within Casa Kiko.

Costume Challenge: +15 points for photos featuring costumes or accessories that humorously or harmoniously blend with the landscape or theme.

Art Parody: +20 points for photos successfully recreating or parodying famous artworks using Lanzarote’s environment.

Shadow Play: +10 points for the most creative use of participant shadows.

Musical Interpretation: +15 points for expressive and fun musical interpretations accompanying the photo.

In Position: Yoga and Fun Poses: +12 points for photos capturing yoga poses or other fun and unusual positions.

Photo Storytelling: +20 points for a series of photos that tell the most interesting story or gag.

Friendly Local Interaction: +18 points for photos showing meaningful and fun interactions with local residents.

Additional Notes

Participants may earn bonus points in multiple categories, but a single photo can only qualify for one bonus category to prevent overlaps.

At the competition’s end, bonus points will be added to the main photo and music challenge scores to determine the winners.

Creativity, environmental respect, and cultural sensitivity are encouraged in all submissions and interactions.

Prizes

1st Place: A one-week free stay at Casa Kiko.

2nd Place: A 50% discount on future bookings at Casa Kiko.

3rd Place: A 25% discount on future bookings at Casa Kiko.

Special Prize: A surprise award for an outstanding photo chosen for its exceptional creativity.

Image Rights and Release Form

By participating, entrants agree to:

Allow Casa Kiko to use their images on www.casakikolanzarote.com and for social media purposes.

Affirm that their submissions are original and do not infringe on any third-party rights.

Consent to the use of their images without additional compensation, except for the chance to win the contest prizes.

Release Casa Kiko from any claims related to the use of the submitted images.

Participation Agreement

Entering your photos in the Casa Kiko Lanzarote Photo Hunt signifies your acceptance of these rules. Casa Kiko reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not adhere to these guidelines.
